I remember asking permission from my Mom last New Year's Day if I could get a tattoo.. Haha! I don't know what has gotten into me, I expected that she would decline this request but I also felt like I wanna humor myself by seeing how my mom would react. Haha! And as expected, I felt an increase in her blood pressure as she started making sermon that a tattoo doesn't define courage but it's a person's way of handling tough situations, that she's a strong woman, yet never felt the urge to get one, that she would get mad at this person who is a B.I. to me in this whole tattoo thing, that my dad would not let me have one too, and so on. C'mon mom! Give me a break! Haha! I should have just gotten one and not tell you. Kidding! :P
But if I one day I really am decided to get a tattoo without asking for anyone's approval, I would have the phrase "VITA SINE PAETENTIA" scribbled in my arms or back. It's a latin phrase which means "ONE LIFE, NO REGRETS." Coz in life, I always take responsibility for all my decisions and actions. I live my life with "No Regrets!". No matter how many times I screw things up, I know there will always be a lesson behind each mistake. And I will never live upon the norms of other people but will always live up to my own so in the end I will always have no regrets. :)
One day... I would have the courage to endure the physical pain and get a tattoo... haha!
Meantime, a tattoo shop is waiting for me... Just around the corner. :)
